Designed in collaboration with surf icon Chris Christenson, the Electric Road Glacier sunglasses are a stylish, multi-functional pair of shades built for any terrain. From the water to the snow, and through back roads at full throttle, the Road Glacier sunglasses are designed to keep you protected with performance-enhancing lens coatings and interchangeable/removable eye shields. Two sets of adjustable and swappable arms also ensure that fit and function are just as important as the “timeless” look.
Developed over the course of two-years, Electric worked closely with Christenson to realise one of the most technically innovative and design-focused sunglasses ever offered by the brand:
The Road Glacier is the most utilitarian sunglass for my lifestyle outside of the shaping bay, chasing California from the palm trees to the pine trees. I use the Road Glaciers everywhere from checking the surf, fishing for Tuna offshore, and riding moto up the 395, to exploring new terrain on my
Chris Christensonsplitboard in the Sierras. Travelling for both my career and my passions, I wanted a sunglass that could perform in any situation with a unique design element not affected by passing trends. The results exceeded my expectations and the design is timeless.
