GoPro Blackout Housing

The new GoPro blackout housing adds a sleek matt black finish to the existing protective shell. Ok, so while it doesn’t add any extra features apart from visual ascetics, it looks really cool, and I mean sub-zero cool (I want one). Aside from this, there are a few situations where the blackout housing becomes more than just a stylish add-on. GoPro have marketed the housing to be used in two main situations; for special ops filming or capturing footage without drawing attention to the camera. The non-reflective coating means that in dark environments where you don’t want to draw attention to yourself, when playing paintball for example, you can still capture all of the action without drawing attention to the GoPro mounted on your head.
