Hands up if you’ve ever lost a baseball cap on a roller coaster. How about a £500 smartphone?
Well, for one lucky iPhone X owner (almost ex-owner), New Zealander Samuel Kempf was sitting a few rows back on a roller coaster at Port Aventura, near Barcelona, Spain.
With goalkeeper-like reactions, Samuel reached over his fellow passenger and saved the iPhone with his fingertips.
Having uploaded the video just two days ago, its already closing in on two million views! Also, more than 600 people have commented on the video, most of them praising the New Zealander for his ‘superhuman feat of dexterity.
“I was in Spain at Port Aventura on the Shambhala ride and saw the person a few rows ahead drop their iPhone X.” Samual wrote in the video description. “Long story short I caught it. This roller coaster is moving at over 130km/h…was once Europe’s tallest and fastest coaster…only recently beaten.”
This video has made my Friday—have a good weekend everyone!
