Rafa Ortiz has a penchant for throwing himself down white water rapids and waterfalls. But after securing several world record titles, the daredevil from Mexico decided to ditch the kayak and ride an unlikely vessel down a 70ft waterfall instead…an inflatable lobster:
The blow-up crustacean is something you’d more likely find in a holiday swimming pool but Ortiz decided to use it to take himself head first down Outlet Falls, Washington, US. He even managed to hold on to his inflatable friend throughout his landing. A way like no other to celebrate today’s unofficial holiday—National Lobster Day.
